It's March 10th and we aren't wearing jackets and we are at the park and OMG IT'S WARM OUTSIDE! It's been a long winter so of course the first sign of Spring we RUN to the park. We are on Spring Break this week so it's wonderful that the weather is very Spring like. We went to the park this morning and then again in the evening with our neighbors. The kids had a blast. Kellan also had his first experience with a real swing and it was ADORABLE!!!!
At first he wasn't quite sure what to do. He just sat there watching all the other kids play. He was content with that.
Karie was bound and determined to get him to enjoy swinging. I knew he would eventually. K loves Karie so even if he hated the swing she could get him to smile.
He spent the rest of the park time smiling and laughing in the swing. He thought it was just about the best thing EVER! I mean, how could you not?! Swings are the best thing at the park!!
That evening we headed to the school park by our house. The big kids ran around like crazy people and K just watched them.
I wish I had behind the scenes photos of me taking this photo. Kyle was so scared K was going to fall. He was RIGHT THERE. I knew he would be fine. Obviously I wouldn't let anything happen to him and I wouldn't take these photos unless someone was RIGHT THERE! lol Overall I think we had a blast today. I hope this weather sticks around and never leaves...but just gets warmer!
