Just like last year she wanted a Planet Spirit birthday party. I didn't mind at all. She could invite everyone she wanted and we didn't have to worry about making sure we had enough space. Our house would never fit all these kids. Plus she gets to hangout with Shawn & I know she missed him since he stopped coaching Hurricanes.
The kids were brought into the gym to play. They were all so excited to see all the things they got to do!
Just don't ask Karie to smile for you, because this is the face she will give you!
The gym needed 5 trampolines to keep up with the kids. They all LOVED it! I don't blame them though. This was always my favorite thing as a kid!
No party would be complete without Karie and some Hula Hoops!
Shawn had the kids playing with the parachute too which of course is ALWAYS a hit with kids...and adults sometimes too. Us adults had a great time with it last year. lol
They played fun games and had dance parties because that is what cheerleaders do. They dance like it's their job. Later on in the party they even did their routine...twice just because the music was on.
The dads just played catch in the corner while the kids danced because that's normal. lol

Of course no party would be complete without cupcakes!
And a song for the birthday girl! Thankfully Courtney had my camera for a lot of the party and took photos for me. She's pretty great. Otherwise I would have like 8 photos because I forgot to take them! lol
K slept through a lot of the party but we did take him in the gym towards to end to play. Kegan didn't want to come with so that's why there are no photos of him. We all tried to convince him to come but he was dead set on stay home so we brought him to my moms house to hangout.
Karie was over the moon excited that Brennan came to her party. They are best friends at school and she talks about him constantly. I HAD to snap a photo of the two of them together.

We chose to not open gifts at the party to give the kids more time to play. We opened them at home. Karie sure is one loved little girl!
