It's time to get back into our daily routine!

Now that the bigs started back at school it's K and I all alone during the day. We are basically stuck at home because it's cold out. I don't mean like it's 10 degrees cold outside. It's -25 with the windchill cold. They are saying -40 tomorrow. If that is the case school will be closed. That's their magic school closing number. I drive the kids to school everyday so they don't have to wait outside for a bus or walk like some kids have to. I completely understand why they would close school that temp. It's cold. I mean, our car could break down and we would be stuck until someone could get us. It's easier to "save" one adult and 3 kids VS a bus driver and a bus full of kids. They would need another bus or those kiddos would freeze. Yikes. So I guess we will see what tomorrow brings.

On Sunday afternoon Karie & I colored while the boys played checkers & chess. Karie got this awesome coloring book for Christmas. I can't lie I love it as much as she does...if not more.

I went out and bought her (us) 50 colored pencils when I was at Target last. We didn't have a ton of colors. Just the simple 12 pack. Now we can't stop coloring. She wants to hangup some of these pages in her room when we are done.

While we were doing all this K was laying on the ground. He's got this whole rolling thing down and he loves it. Well, he loves to roll from his back to his tummy and then gets mad and doesn't want to roll back. So I put him back and his back and he rolls again. Rinse and repeat.

I can't help but laugh when he gets his arm stuck though. He looks like he is trying to fly. Then he rocks back and forth trying to get his hand out. Such a goof!

I mentioned in my last post how much he likes his feet. Without socks on he is hold them constantly if he is on his back or within reach of them.

This is yet another way he tries to get his arm out. The "face push up". haha

He loves things with a face and within the last day or two has really started to like this turtle. It was part of a toy lot I bought on a FB garage sale group. It makes obnoxiously loud sounds like every other baby/kid toy but what do you do? He likes it. lol

However, nothing compares to the monkey. Also, his eyes. I can't take it. He is so adorable. I know all parents say their kids are the cutest things ever. I may have mom glasses on but I think I make really cute kids. I'll put my mom ear muffs on too if someone disagrees.

I look at K every day and I am shocked at how big he is. I can't believe how big he is getting. I remember when we first brought him home from the hospital and we put him in his Mamaroo. He looked so tiny. I knew someday he would play with his mobile but I couldn't picture it. I couldn't picture him bigger. I didn't want to. Now look at him. He plays so much. He's so big!!!!

Last night Kyle put together the table top Fooseball table we got Kegan for Christmas. He was too busy playing in his room so he gave Karie the first turn.

Karie had way too much fun. She would say to Kyle "You need to go easy on me." It was so cute.

I love K's face as I was taking photos of Karie. "Hey, I'm here watching too. Take a picture of me." lol

Elsie was interested in the game. Mostly she just wanted to know when it would end because she wanted the attention to be on her since she is so jealous. That's how she got her nickname "Jelly Belly". No, not the jelly bean. We call her Ellie Belly. We joke how she is so jealous and that turned into Jelly Belly. It's very fitting. Look at that face and ears! lol Goof!!
