I never would have believed you if a few years ago that I would have a
baby. I wouldn't believe you if you told me that Karie would want to
wear that baby!
Since before K was born I swear he
& Karie had a bond. She would make sure she took time out of her day
to talk to my belly when the uterus was his home. She wanted to make
sure that when K was born he would know her voice. Every night when I
tucked her into bed she would tell K goodnight, hug my belly and kiss it
goodnight. It melted my heart.
From birth she has
loved him almost as much as I have. She wants to hold him all the time.
She plays with him constantly. She wants to "stunt" with him which is so
funny to watch. She love to just carry him around and be his little
mom.
I wear K all the time. When I cook, clean, shop
and work. I wear him when he gets fussy or tired. I wear him a lot.
Karie has shown interest in it and asked me if she could wear my carrier
and wear him. I wasn't sure if it would fit. If you have ever met Karie
you would know. She is a string bean. A far cry from the chunky baby
girl I once knew. I told her we could try.
She was thrilled. At the smallest settings it was still a little big
but we made it work. K was fussy. Between the start of teething *fun*
and being in desperate need of a nap he was surely showing us his
frustration while I was helping him in. However once he was in he was
great. Karie walked up & down the bedroom. I was sewing. K was
babbling away. A few minutes later it was quiet. I look over and K was
asleep!! Karie was incredibly proud.
Over and over I
asked her if she wanted me to take him off. She declined my offer every
time. It was a good hour before he woke up.
As soon as
he was changed and fed she asked to wear him again. She just loves him! I
really can't wait to see their relationship grow. <3

Love her. She's so grown up, I can't even stand it!
