Happy Day we all eat ham
I'm not religious at all but I like Easter. I like ham. I like watching the kids hunt for eggs. I like giving the kids Easter baskets. It's fun for me. It has nothing to do with what lots of people celebrate Easter for. We don't do church or any of that stuff. It's just not something I believe in. All our holidays are that way. We celebrate the "Halmark" way as a lot of the religious people call it. I'm totally okay with that. I just love having a little bit of fun.
It was so nice out. We went on a couple of walks/bike rides. The kids got a ton of candy, which I totally expected and had a fun at the Easter Egg Hunt.
We had an awesome dinner too. I ate far too much ham and for me that is just what you do. I really could use some right now. lol
We attempted to get a photo of all the kids.
lol Attempt being the key word. It will be crazier next year with K being here. My cousin Katie wasn't here this year and she has an almost 3 year old and a newborn. The next time we have ALL the kids together will be insane. lol But I think it's pretty funny. None of them wanted their photo taken but we tried.
Kyle & I did go on a solo walk together. I totally wore the wrong shoes. Not to self, bring tennis shoes next time. Going on a walk in wedges isn't very much fun after about 30 seconds. Kyle took a belly photo of me when we got to the bridge.
When Kyle & I started dating we used to take photos on this bridge. We took a few random family photos too. It's been a while. The last time we took photos on this bridge Karie was a baby.
I totally have to get a family photo here again once K is born. It's crazy that our family will be 5 this summer. I am so excited. There is so much to look forward to!
Overall the holiday went well. The kids had fun and really that is all that matters.
