Wisconsin Dells

Over the weekend was Karie's cheer comp. It was long but we all had so much fun. Karie's team took 3rd place and I am so proud of these kids. We played a ton at the waterpark, the dry park and even had a parents night out!

We started the drive Friday morning. The kids were supposed to have school off but because of all the days that they missed for cold/snow days this was a make up day. However, a lot of people had trips planned and what not so if that was the case it was excused.

It was a pretty easy drive out there. The kids had lots of games to play and snacks to eat. It only took us a little over 3 hours even with our two stops. We got there and of course the first thing they kids wanted to do was go to the waterpark. I was a bit nervous going. I couldn't find a maternity swim suit that would fit me. They were all way too big on top. So I bought a regular bikini. After being there, I felt great. I got a few random looks from people but for the most part everything was good.

Saturday and Sunday were cheer comp days. It was so bittersweet. This comp was the last one of the season. Of course I cried. I would have even if I wasn't pregnant. I couldn't help it. The team is going to be so different next season & I will really miss it. This was Karie's first year & we got so lucky being with a great group of people.

On Sunday night the parents went out. The two biggest girls watched the 6 younger kids. This is what happens when you get cheerleaders together.

They stunt. lol I love them!

The parents went to the pub in the hotel. After seeing a picture of their Bloody Mary's I had to go. Mine was a virgin but next year it won't be! Ashely got one too!

See that! It has a burger on it. The thing was a darn meal. I didn't even order food because it filled me up! Seeing it again makes me want to get another one. lol

Today at 12, check out, we left for home. The kids were so bummed so go home. I don't blame them though, it was a blast. We all can't wait to go back next year. It will be a lot different with a baby but it will still be a lot of fun!
