Level 2 Anatomy Ultrasound

Today's ultrasound was really long. Much longer than any ultrasound I ever had before. They took a ton of measurements and thankfully as each one was taken, and while they were taking them, our tech told us everything. She was really nice. It was so helpful because I can't lie. I was really scared going in there again. There was a lot to look at this time. Things were a lot bigger.

Baby K was really hyper. He wiggled a ton. It was difficult at first but once he wasn't so nuts it was easier for her to get all the measurements she needed. He passed with flying colors and again right on track with everything! His heart looks perfect along with all his other organs.

I can't even explain how happy I am about how things have turned out. I was so scared a month ago. I had no idea if our baby was even going to survive. Things were so much different thing. Our lives have taken a complete 180 from then. The news honestly couldn't be better.

Around 32 weeks we have another ultrasound just to check on him again. I am confident that we won't find anything and it will just be another peak at our growing little man. He has come a long way. I am so happy to say that we are in that 10% of people who have a baby who survive a Septated Cystic Hygroma. Now just the almost 20 week wait to hold him in my arms, kiss him and tell him that I love him.

In celebration of such a successful day we stopped by the studio for a few photos. The kids really weren't having it but it was nice to snap a few.

The best part was the oh so cute photos we got of Baby K!

He is so beautiful. I can't wait to meet him!
