6 Year Photos

Around the kids birthdays I do their yearly photos. I try to do it as close to their birthday as possible but it doesn't always work out that way. This year was one of those years for Karie. Her photos were taken close to a month late, but better late than never I guess. I brought her into the studio for photos. I think she is the most beautiful girl in the world. While I am missing my little baby Karie, it is really exciting to see her grow.

She is getting to the age now where she has an opinion about everything. She also likes to make deals. She doesn't always want to get her pictures taken but she will ask for a deal. The deal was that she got to take pictures in her cheer uniform with her doll, Isabelle, and I had to be in some photos with her. She is madly in love with her little brother already. She is always hugging and kissing my belly. I couldn't say no to that. I also couldn't say no to cheer photos. I mean it's MORE photos!

Man she is so cute! All these poses were her idea. It started out as "Take a picture of me like this." then "Take a photo of me doing this." until I had a ton of her doing random poses. It works out great for this collage.

I don't really love any of the photos of the two of us, but Karie does and that is really all that matters. I love the way she looks though. She is going to make a great big sister.
