Today was completely exhausting but it came with very little tears and that was much needed. When we woke up Karie was feeling a little bit better. After more meds and breakfast we left to the MOA. Her team did amazing and it was so awesome to see her performing in front of such a huge crowd. I am so proud of her. They took home first place too!
We had lunch with friends, did some shopping and by then Karie was just as tired as I was so we went home. The only real hard part of the day was when my pregnancy was brought up. I had to tears and was able to fake through it.
Karie was really excited to go to the American Girl store. We bought her Isabelle, the 2014 doll, for her birthday. It looks so much like her. Long blonde hair and green eyes! She loves her. She got a different one a couple of years ago so she already had a few outfits and what not. For Christmas I got her a uniform for her doll to match hers. She brought hers to the comp and so did Emmaleigh. They looked so cute with their dolls!
At home both Kyle & Karie took a really long nap. I tried to sleep but I couldn't. I laid there forever. I ended up playing on my phone and listening to Kyle snore. When they woke up we went out to dinner with Kyle's parents for Karie's birthday. At this point I was so exhausted I wasn't sure I was going to be able to make it through dinner. But I did. Karie was so excited to get her fancy cake at dinner.
While I spent more of the day being tired, it was so nice to be so distracted most of the day while celebrating my girl turning 6!
Happy 6th Birthday, Karie.
