Christmas Puppies

I don't think I have ever posted photos of my dogs. Maybe I have but it's been a looooooong time!

Kooper, Zoey and Elsie.

They all needed updated photos and since my rug was dog hair free (for all of 6 minutes) I bribed them with treats for photos.

Kooper HATES getting his picture taken. He will sit nice but look at that face. You can see just that it pains him to do it. Zoey isn't a huge fan either but she tolerates it. Elsie doesn't care. She just cares that she gets her treat after. haha

People think it's weird we have 3 kids in our tiny house. I think it's weird that people don't have 3 dogs. I mean AT LEAST 2. Dogs need a friend. Apparently all my kids needed a dog friend. 3 kids and 3 dogs. I guess I just thrive on chaos.

It's wine-o-clock!

It's one of those days. Nothing is going right. Everything is failing. I am emotional. I am broken.

I NEED WINE!

Our Target has a liquor store now. It's the best EVER! It opened last month and I am probably their best customer. haha I swear I am not an alcoholic, I just really enjoy a bottle of wine or 2. ;)

After school I had to go to Target for the SECOND time that day because I forgot stuff I needed. Which was one of the things that started my fail day. My kids were loud. They fought with each other. The fought with me. They were just turds.

So into the "wine store" I went. I picked up my favorite bottle and am currently drinking it while blogging now that my kids are in bed. lol *cheers*

Only cool kids wear car seat ponchos!

Anyone who knows me knows I am a freak about car seat safety. I want my kids as safe as possible in the car. Since the bigs were little we have had car seat ponchos. It's a safe way to roll because jackets are just too big!

A friend of mine started a sewing business and I picked up this custom car seat poncho for KK.

ISN'T IT THE CUTEST THING?!!?!?!?

I freaking love it!

KK enjoys it as well. How could you not? He looks adorable in it and it's super warm.

Not to mention the hood which none of my other ones had. It fits oh so perfectly in the car too!

It's beginning to look at a lot like Christmas!

It's Christmas time and EVERYWHERE YOU GO  you can't get away from it.

I FREAKING LOVE IT!

Christmas is my jam. If Kyle didn't make me I would leave our tree up all year. I listen to Christmas music year round and think about Christmas all year. It never leaves. There is just something wonderful about this time of year.

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Target. I spend all my money there. I make too many friends there and take too many photos there.

While grabbing some groceries we made our way to the Holiday section. I added too many things to my cart and proudly put them up at my house. I don't hid my Target purchases like some people. My husband knows full well I am obsessed and has witnessed it first hand when he shops with me. I make friends with the staff and am there almost everyday. Target is probably my favorite place. I should just move in. ;)

Meet me werido family!

I haven't shared any family photos since...oh 2015? Yikes. We had professional family photos taken this year. They are BEAUTIFUL! I love them. I can't wait to hang them on my walls. They are very us but we don't normally dress THAT fancy.

So I thought I would share this one. A perfect example of my weird family.

We aren't perfect. We fight. We are stubborn. We sometimes each doughnuts for dinner and panic in the morning because we over slept. We never have matching socks and I am always trying to find a shoe/jacket/shirt/brain lol for someone.

But...this is perfect. We are weirdly perfect for each other.

I wouldn't have it any other way!

SANTA!

Our house doesn't have a real tree. It's fake.

Growing up we ALWAYS had a real tree. We would leave early in the morning on the day after Thanksgiving as a family (my mom, aunts, uncles and all the kids) to go cut down trees. Then we would go out to breakfast.

It was always one of my favorite holiday traditions.

But like I said, our tree now is fake. However, that doesn't stop us. My family still goes to cut down trees and we tag along.

The tree farm has animals and it has SANTA! I was pretty excited to see how Kellan did with Santa. Both the big kids always were scared and never wanted to sit with him. Kellan is so outgoing and loves everyone I hoped he would be the same way with him....and he was!

HE LOVED SANTA! He was the first one to see him when he came out from the trees. He ran up to him to give him a high five and then followed him back to his thorn. He couldn't wait to sit on his lap.

Once he was done he immediately wanted to go back. I grabbed the bigs and we waited in line.

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME MY KIDS SAT ON SANTA'S LAP AND WERE HAPPY!

I couldn't believe it. I don't even care that it isn't a fancy set up at the mall where everyone is wearing cute clothes looking perfect. THIS is perfect for me. This is real life.

MY KIDS LIKE SANTA!  hahahhah

Winter is here!

Anyone who knows me knows I don't like winter. I would much rather be a bear and sleep through it to wake up in spring. But, I am not a bear so I have to deal with crappy roads, wet boots and being so cold my feet feel like they are going to fall off.

But...sometimes it's so pretty I can't imagine living anywhere else.

This path is a path we walk on all the time. It's 3 minutes from our house. It's a path I walked on as a kid.

It's seriously the prettiest path all year round but something about winter makes it feel so magical.

We took a walk on it this morning after we dropped the kids off at school. I didn't want to do it. Kyle said I would regret it if I didn't.

I totally would have.

This picture is everything. I love it so much. It's so simple but at the same time, there is so much to it. My sweet tiny KK in a world so much bigger than he even knows but he just walks through it with so much confidence.

When I took it I thought "This is my State Fair photo for next year!"I can't wait to enter it...that is unless I take something I love more between now and July!
